Looking back at 2025
Looking back at 2025, the defining theme for the JGC community was clearly "Active Connections." In the high-stakes world of global logistics, it is one thing to hold membership in a network, but it is another entirely to actually move cargo, mitigate risks, and build sustainable businesses together. As we navigate the complexities of 2026, it is important to reflect on the milestones we achieved as a collective over the past twelve months. These achievements have fortified our foundation for the challenges ahead.
Expanding the Global Footprint: 186 New Doors Opened
The true strength of any professional network is measured by its activity and the quality of its connections rather than just its size. In 2025, JGC facilitated 186 direct and vetted introductions between members and potential agents. These introductions sparked new partnerships across the globe. These were not merely digital exchanges; they were the catalysts for new trade lane developments and collaborative logistics solutions.
Alongside these individual connections, we successfully filled critical gaps in our global service map. Recognising the shifting demands of international trade, we ensured our members now have reliable and vetted representation in key strategic hubs. This includes The Netherlands, France, Nigeria, and Cape Town. In an era where regionalisation is becoming as prominent as globalisation, having trusted representation in these specific territories is a significant competitive advantage for every JGC member.
The Architecture of Reliability: A 94% Retention Rate
In an industry where partnerships can be fleeting or purely transactional, JGC remains a sanctuary of stability. We ended the year with a remarkable 94% member retention rate. This figure is a powerful indicator of the deep trust and long-term reliability inherent in our community. It suggests that when you reach out to a JGC partner, you are not simply contacting a service provider. Instead, you are engaging with a seasoned professional who is committed to the network for the long haul. This level of continuity is essential for managing complex supply chains where consistency and historical performance are the best safeguards against market volatility.
The Power of Purpose: Impact Beyond the Shipping Lanes
Beyond the technicalities of freight and forwarding, our members showed incredible heart this year. The JGC family proved that our commitment to partnership extends to the wider world. Together, we raised a total of $7,872 in donations through a joint effort between JGC network savings and the voluntary generosity of our members. This spirit of giving and the tangible positive impact we make together is what truly distinguishes the JGC community from a standard business directory. We operate with the understanding that a strong network supports its members, but a great network supports the world around it.

Momentum for Manila 2026
With our social media presence reaching new heights and our trade lanes more active than ever, we enter 2026 with incredible momentum. This success sets the stage for our 21st Annual Global Conference in Manila this May. The trust forged throughout 2025 will be the primary currency exchanged at The Westin Manila. There, we will seize the opportunity to support one another in person. During these tumultuous times, the resilience we built last year will be our greatest asset as we meet to secure the future of our respective businesses.
Thank you to every member who contributed to making 2025 such a productive and meaningful year. We look forward to seeing that same spirit of unity in Manila.
