The global logistics landscape is once again facing significant uncertainty.
Between geopolitical tensions in the Middle East affecting shipping routes and the strain of new U.S. tariffs, our industry is under immense pressure. Rising fuel costs and operational disruptions have made the environment increasingly complex for logistics providers everywhere.
The Power of Our Network
However, the true strength of a network is revealed in times of crisis. Across the JGC community, I have witnessed a remarkable spirit of solidarity. Many of our members have chosen partnership over short-term gain—honoring commitments and moving cargo even when sharp cost increases made pricing difficult.
This is the essence of JGC. We are not built merely on transactions, but on trust and the willingness to stand together when circumstances are difficult.
Connecting in Manila
While digital tools keep us connected, nothing replaces the value of meeting in person. This foundation of trust is forged at our face-to-face conferences, making our 21st Annual Global Conference in Manila (15–18 May 2026) more vital than ever. This summit arrives at a critical juncture, providing the platform to align our strategies and secure our supply chains through direct dialogue.
The JGC Legacy
Years from now, the story of this period won't just be about market disruption; it will be about how the JGC family supported one another. Networks are not defined by geography, but by the strength of the people who stand behind them.
Thank you for your resilience and your unwavering commitment to this community. Together, we will continue to grow stronger.
Networks are not defined by geography or transactions, but by the strength of the people who stand together behind them.
